Iyo intama zonnye hafatwa abashumba

Mu Rwanda, Jenoside yakorewe abatutsi, iyo jenoside yitabirwa  n’abakristu, kuko iyo abakristu batayitabira kubera ko aribo bagize  igice kinini cy’abanyarwanda ntiyari gukorwa. Kuva ikozwe abantu  bibaza byinshi, muri ibyo byibazwa harimo kureba uko abantu  bakongera kwiyunga. Uko abakristu bashutswe bakayitabira ari  benshi igakorwa, ni nako bafashijwe bakongera bakihutisha ubumwe  n’ubwiyunge.

Umuntu ni mwiza, yaremwe mu ishusho y’Imana, avangirwa na  Sekibi, iyo nyagwa niyo ifite ijambo rya nyuma, ijambo rya mbere  rifitwe na Kristu wabwiye abamwemeye ati : « Nimujye mukundana  nk’uko na njye nabakunze » Jn15, 12.

Akongera ati : « Kandi ikuzo wampaye, nanjye nararibahaye, kugira  ngo babe umwe nk’uko na twe turi umwe » Jn17, 22.

Aya magambo ari mu murage wa Yezu Kristu, niyo Yezu Kristu  yabwiye abigishwa be mu bihe bye byanyuma na bo. Umurage  umuntu awukomeraho. Nibyo abigishwa be bigishije, nibyo bemeye  gupfira bibaye ngombwa. Intumwa Yohani ari umusaza ku karwa ka  Patmos aho yari yaraciriwe, yari yaribagiwe byinshi kubera ubusaze,  iyo umuntu wese ashaje aribagirwa, ariko icyo atari yibagiwe ni uyu  murage w’urukundo.

Irinzi ry’abantu ryazaga kumwumva yigisha bagasanga agira  ati « Yaravuze ngo nimukundane nk’uko nabakunze » Jn15, 12.

Mu Rwanda umurage w’urukundo twasigiwe na Kristu, abakristu  bawurenzeho, abantu bica abandi babaziza uko Imana yabaremye.  Abatutsi bakorerwa jenoside. Umukristu urwanira ishyaka Kristu  ntagomba kurebera iyo jenoside.

Hakorwa iki rero !

Iyo amatungo yonnye hafatwa abashumba, ni bo babazwa impamvu  bonesheje. Si ubwa mbere mvuga aya magambo, nzayasubiramo  kenshi mu gihe cyose abantu bihunza ibyo bashinzwe. Umushumba  uko mbibona ni umuntu ufite abo arebera , abo ayobora, abo agira  inama.

Umubyeyi ni umushumba mu rugo rwe, umuyobozi

w’umuryangoremezo, ni umushumba muri uwo muryango. Padiri ni  umushumba muri Paroisse ashinzwe, Abasenyeri bo ku mugaragaro,  bitwa abashumba ba Diyosezi.

Umushumba yita kuzo aragiye zose, agashimishwa n’uko zose  zimeze neza igihe agize abaza kuzisura, irwaye imuhangayikisha  kurenza izindi, akayitaho, kugera igihe ibaye nk’izindi. Ikizira ni  ukugira izimira muri zo. Ndi umwana muto nagiye kuragira inyana,  ngeze kwa sogokuru twari duturanye nsanga abana barakina akarere  na njye njyamo nibagirwa ko ndagiye inyana, mbyibuka buhumanye  abakinnyi dutashye. Inyana aho nari nayisize yari yahavuye kuko  itari iziritse. Ijoro ryari rinteye ubwoba, njyenda ngiye kuvuga imuhira  ko inyana yampeze. Nibuka Data anyirukaho mpungira kwa  sogokuru, ambaza aho narindagiye.

Ubwo bwoba bwo kuzimiza itungo kuri uwo mugoroba n’ubu  ndacyabwibuka, bwanshizemo ari uko mbwiwe ko inyana bayibonye.

Babashumba navuze haruguru, umubyeyi w’umukristu mu rugo,  umuyobozi wumuryangoremezo mu muryango ayobora, umuyobozi  wa Centrale muri paruwasi, umupadiri muri paruwasi, umusenyeri  muri Diyosezi, ese koko, buri wese aho ari ahangayikishijwe no guha  ituze mu mutima abo ashinzwe nyuma ya jenoside yakorewe  abatutsi. Muri iyo jenoside hagaragaye urwango rukomeye  rwagaragajwe n’ubugome burenze kamere.

Muri iyi jenoside, amatungo yashotse mu iriba ry’uburozi. Itungo  ryanyoye amazi aroze, umushumba ararirebera se cyangwa avuza  induru agatabaza, abavuzi b’amatungo bagatabara. Muri uko

gutabara hari igihe umuti nyawo utinda kuboneka, hakitabazwa imiti  yoroshya ubukana bw’uburozi hagishakishwa umuti nyawo. Nibyo  byagaragaye kugeza ubu.

Muri Kiliziya Gatorika hakozwe sinodi ku kibazo k’irondakoko  dusanga kuba mu moko anyuranye atari ikibazo ko ahubwo ikibazo  ari irondakoko. Leta y’u Rwanda yakoresheje gacaca mu Rwanda  hose ishaka guca umuco wo kudahana kuko jenoside yakorewe  abatutsi yo muri 1994, yabanjirijwe n’izindi, iyo muri 1959, muri 1963,  no muri 1973, iyo zarangira ga abantu bikomerezaga nk’aho  ntacyabaye. N’ubu iyo interahamwe zitsinda tuba twizihiza umunsi  w’intsinzi yazo kandi abantu barashize bazira uko Imana yabaremye.  Imana yaturinze icyo kinyoma. Abakoreye jenoside abatutsi  barwanyije Imana yaremye abantu, Imana ifite impamvu yakuremye  uko uri, bajye babikubahira. Buriya nicyo gituma interahamwe  zatsinzwe. Bafite ingorane imbere y’Imana, barwanyije Imana  yaremye abantu.

Nta butabera, nta mahoro, nta n’urukundo byashoboka. Gacaca  yabaye nyuma ya jenoside yakorewe abatutsi yakuyeho umuco wo  kudahana, ubu noneho abantu bashobora kubana mu bwumvikane.  Icyaha wahaniwe ntikiba kikikubereye umutwaro. Nyuma ya Sinodi ya  Gacaca, abantu barorohewe ariko uburozi bwa jenoside yakorewe  abatutsi ntiburabashiramo.

Kubona umuntu w’umukristu muri gacaca yemera ko yishe abantu  babiri, batanu, icumi muri jenoside yakorewe abatutsi, Kiliziya ntigire  icyo ibivugaho nyuma y’uko ukuri kugaragajwe, bituma abantu bibaza  byinshi. Kiliziya yaba se ishyigikiye jenoside yakorewe  abatutsi, Kiliziya yaba se yumva ko Sinode na Gacaca byakozwe  bihagije kuburyo abayoboke ba Kristu batekanye mu mutima nta  kibazo bagifite ?

Kiliziya se yaba ibiterwa n’ubwoba bwo kwishora mu rugamba  rw’Ubumwe n’Ubwiyunge ? ibyo ari byo byose abantu ni beza,

babura ababafasha mu nzira y’ineza, kandi ibisubizo by’ibibazo  bibarimo, ntawe ugomba kubatekerereza ngo abahe umurongo, ni bo  bagomba kuwibonera.

Hakorwa iki rero ?

Jenoside yakorewe abatutsi yahungabanyije Kiliziya mu Rwanda  kuburyo abakristu twese tugomba gutabara, ufite igitekerezo  cyakongera gusana Kiliziya ntatinye kugitanga.

Icyo mbona cya mbere Kiliziya gatorika igomba gukorera abakristu  bayo bishoye muri jenoside yakorewe abatutsi n’ugufungirwa  amasakaramentu ; iki gihano kiri muri Kiliziya kigakoreshwa iyo  habonetse icyaha giteye ishozi cyakorewe ku mugaragaro (scandal  public). Icyaha cya jenoside yakorewe abatutsi kibarirwa muri byo.

Igihe cyose Kiliziya gatorika izatinya gufata icyemezo cyo gufungira  amasakaramentu abakoreye jenoside abatutsi, kandi muri gacaca  barabyiyemereye, n’abatarabyemereye abo babikoranye  barabibemeje, Kiliziya bizayigora kunga abantu.

Gufungira amasakaramentu abakristu bakoreye jenoside  abatutsi si igihano ni umuti.

Ibi ngiye kubagezaho ni ibitekerezo ni ibyo nashyize mu bikorwa.

Nari Padiri Mukuru muri Paruwasi Nyamasheke muri Diyosezi ya  Cyangugu mu gihe cya jenoside yakorewe abatutsi mu Rwanda muri  1994 ; ndeba ukuntu abantu bahindutse abandi, ndeba ukuntu  bampindutse na njye ubwanjye bintera kwibaza n’ubu  ndacyakomeza. Nibaza ngerageza no gushakisha ibisubizo.

Jenoside yakorewe abatutsi ndeba ni ibyo mbwirwa, kubona  abayikoze barangiza, ngo baciye mu ntebe ya penetensiya  birangiriye aho sinigeze mbyumva. Sinshidikanya ko hakihishamo  gupfobya jenoside yakorewe abatutsi. Ndi Padiri Mukuru wa  Paruwasi Mushaka aho narangije ubutumwa nyuma ya jenoside  yakorewe abatutsi nibazaga ukuntu nafasha abakristu bakoze iyo

jenoside kumva icyaha cyabo, ngasanga nta kundi ari ukubafungira  amasakaramentu, kuko umukristu ufungiwe amasakramentu yibaza  impamvu. Nutari usanzwe ayahabwa iyo ayafungiwe atangira kumva  agaciro kayo.

Nyuma ya gacaca, abiyemereye ko bishe abantu muri jenoside  yakorewe abatutsi kimwe n’abandi babyemejwe n’abo babikoranye  batababeshyera, abayobozi b’imiryangoremezo muri Paroisse  Mushaka babitekerejeho basanga abo bakristu bishoye muri jenoside  yakorewe abatutsi barahemukiye Kiliziya, aribyo koko ko bagomba  guhabwa umwanya wo kuzirikana ku cyaha cyabo cyahungabanyije  abakristu bose muri paroisse.

Wabaye umuti mwiza muri paroisse, abarokotse jenoside yakorewe  abatutsi barabishimye, abageragezaga kubagira inama mu gihe cya  jenoside ntibabumve ahubwo bakabita ibyitso barabishimye,  hatangira ubutumwa bwo kubafasha kuva mu cyaha no kubigisha. Na  bo ubwabo byarabafashije amaherezo barabishima. Mu rugendo rwo  kugarukira Imana iyo barugeze hagati batumwa gusubira mu  miryango bishe bajyanywe no gusaba imbabazi. Basubukura  urugendo rwo kugarukira Imana iyo abo mu miryango bahekuye baje  babaherekeje kubasabira imbabazi kuri paroisse. Uyu mwitozo  bakora nimutagatifu, abiciwe n’abishe muri jenoside yakorewe  abatutsi baraganira, bakabohoka ku mutima.

Abapadiri baba bafite ubwoba bwo gufasha intama baragijwe,  mbamaze impungenge. Gufungira abakristu amasakaramentu  abahemukiye Kiliziya ku mugaragaro biza ahanini ari umuti kuruta  uko biba igihano. Muri Paruwasi ya Mushaka, Diyosezi Cyangugu,  magingo aya bageze ku kiciro cya 5 kirimo kigarukira Imana,  umupadiri waba afite impungenge zo gukora nk’ibyakozwe muri  Paroisse Mushaka azanyarukireyo, arebe umunsi bazagarukiraho  Imana.

Gisigaye ubu muri Paroisse Mushaka ari igikorwa cy’abakristu,  umupadiri uwo ariwe wese watumwa muri Paruwasi Mushaka  ntashobora kubihindura, abakristu bamaze kubona ko inzira barimo  ubu ari yo iboneye ishobora kugeza abantu ku bumwe n’ubwiyunge.  Imbuto zeze muri Paroisse Mushaka ni nyinshi kandi

amasakaramentu yarushijeho gusubizwa agaciro. Uburozi bwanyowe  muri jenoseide yakorewe abatutsi burukwa igihe abakoze jenoside  n’abayikorewe bafashijwe kuganira nta buryarya. Ahandiho, intama  turagiye zirar Padiri, Pastori, izawe zimeze zite ?

In his own words…..

Father Ubald's Vision for the Center for the Secret of Peace

Dear friends:

On August 5/016 Excellence Bishop Jean Damascene Bimenyimana, Bishop of Cyangugu Diocese in Rwanda has blessed  statues of Our Lady of Kibeho, Merciful Jesus, Our Lady Queen of Love and Saint Josephine Bakhita at the Secret of peace Center. He blessed also Rosary way stations, the way of cross stations and the seven sorrows rosary stations at the same center.

The Secret of Peace Center becomes pilgrimage center, very attractive; people come from everywhere to come and pray at that center and get peace.

This is the daily schedule at the Secret of Peace Center.

Monday at 9:30 AM it is Rosary prayer through rosary way stations; at the end there is mass, adoration after the mass and at 3PM the Divine Mercy chapelet.

Tuesday at 9:30 AM it is seven sorrows rosary through the seven sorrows rosary stations; at the end the pilgrims have mass and after the mass it adoration. At 3PM it is Divine Mercy chapelet.

Wednesday like Monday.

Thursday it is pilgrimage of people with Holy Spirit devotion.

Friday it is the prayer through the way of cross stations with the mass at the end, adoration  and the divine chapelet at 3PM.

Saturday like Monday and Wednesday.

Every 13th of month, it is Fatima day, people come from every where to pray God through Virgin Mary. At the end of the mass it is healing prayer.

At the last Sunday of the month, there is mass with healing prayer at the Secret of Peace Center.

The Idea to found the Secret of Peace Center came to me after genocide against people from tutsi ethny. I remembered Virgin Mary when appearing to visionaries at Kibeho, I was seminarian at Nyakibanda Major Seminary; she wept because of the calamity which had to happen in Rwanda if people are not converted and love sincerely each other. Her message has not been understood. And the calamity occurred in Rwanda, it has been genocide against people from Tutsi ethny. What horror! More than one million people from Tutsi ethny in Rwanda have been killed in 3 monthes. From babies to old people, they have been killed without any mercy. We understood why Virgin Mary wept during apparitions at Kibeho. I survived miraculously genocide against people from Tutsi ethny. I witnessed evil spirit of hatred at work during genocide time. Evil spirit of revenge was spying right time to go on destroying Rwandese society after genocide against people from tutsi ethny. We had to fight it. There was nothing else to do instead of preaching forgiveness and reconciliation. I began such experience at Mushaka parish where I have been pastor after genocide against people from Tutsi ethny. That experience bore a lot of fruits. People have forgiven one another and begged pardon after Genocide against people from Tutsi ethny. I had  to go forward and  found a congregation  of people who had to work for peace after genocide against people from Tutsi ethny. When thinking at about how to begin with it I learnt that there is a sister, Sr .Donata who has had the same vision and had already begun with the community  “Missionaries of Peace of Christ the King”. I went and met her, after the meeting I promised her that instead of creating an other congregation with the same objective as hers better was to come and help her, thus I became co-founder of Missionaries of Peace of Christ the King. That congregation is working actively in peace making, helping in forgiveness and reconciliation after genocide against people from tutsi ethny, listening to people with inner wounds after genocide against people from Tutsi ethny. I bought the land next to the lake Kivu with intention to create a center, the “Secret of Peace Center ” that name I had it from God when praying. The money to buy that  land has been for me a gift from God. I can’t explain how I have got that money. The Secret of Peace Center stays a secret and has really a secret of peace.

Last August 5, 2016 after blessing the statues and stations of different spiritual ways told above the Bishop of Cyangugu Diocese declared that the Secret of Peace Center was a gift of Merciful Year, thus people have to come and make their pilgrimage and pray for peace.

Pray so that the vision on the Secret of Peace Center be realized, so generous people can help and sustain it.

Fr. Ubald Rugirangoga

Founder of the Secret of Peace Center.

He is thankful to serve the Center as it helps him to put into practice Christ's Gospel, where he says: "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God"! So he is happy to provide a noble service that helps people not only to have peace but also to be peace messengers. Moreover, the late Father Ubald Rugirangoga is like a parent for Fr. Ubald Jr., as he is affectionately called, as Fr. Ubald Jr. was one of many whom the late Fr. Ubald financially assisted in his educational studies. Fr. Ubald Jr first came to know the late Fr. Ubald in 2002 and learned many things from him both in priestly vocation in general and in peace building culture specifically.
